    Actually the clicker can be used as reinforcement for a good behavior. The click represents that the animal did the correct action and will get a treat. It is a lot quicker to begin training an animal with a clicker, because you cross the barrier of understanding and it makes more sense to the animal. Then they can understand that the noise to mean that they did good.

    i dont mean this in a bad way but i thought the clicker was used to get the attention of your cat if it is doing something wrong becasue the clicker is not a pleseant noise…just wondering = ]
