Gryphon’s Retrieve Choice

Since she is so good at targeting - I have moved to the next step - retrieving. For this she will need to pickup an object and bring it to me. So I collected an assortment of objects for her to choose from...and she did! ... bird Gryphon clicker training pets cockatiel

    So to train my 8-9 month Cockatiel Do i have to get him used to getting on my finger an then use a Clicker and do things with him ?

    They are not bird rings – they are little girls flexi plastic rings and bracelets – they come in a set of 6 rings and 6 bracelets (not shown in the video). Try your local $1 shop or I can get you some and send them to you!

    Good idea letting her pick her favorite before you start the retrieve training. This is just so fascinating. And it is so neat that you are putting these videos up to demonstrate how to do the clicker training. Are those special rings for training birds or just any rings that you can pick up, and where would you get them?
