*Do NOT let your dog become too food dependent. Don't give them the treat each time the do it, but every 10-15 times. Practice and your dog will finally start to get the point.

This is an example of how I work with my European German shepherd, Zada, on obedience. She's been through several obedience classes, but this was the first time I had a camera pointed at her while giving her cues. In classes I use 'high-reward' treats; anytime we're outside I use her chase/prey drive and her love of sticks. (Not bad for her first candid camera appearance!)
